The Smart Assistant Mirror is designed using a two-way mirror with the DragonBoard™ 410c from Arrow Electronics to indicate the time, weather and news.
Objective
Since ancient Egypt, mirrors have been used for personal grooming. But over the centuries, there has been very little change to how they are used. This project aims to make mirrors smarter, and make them an integral part of the next generation of smart homes. Potentially the system can be designed to have total control of a smart home with sensors that tie into lockers, alarms, security cams, temperature and more. It can also be designed to act as a personal assistant by running Alexa voice services on the DragonBoard 410c.
