Qualcomm Home Hub 100 Development Kit
The Qualcomm® Home Hub 100 Development Kit is designed for building your voice-controlled products around Amazon Alexa Voice Services. The kit puts you on the path to building the same kind of voice control into your devices that is at work in the Amazon Echo and the Echo Dot.
As part of the Qualcomm® Home Hub 100 Platform, this kit is based on the Qualcomm® QCA4020 System-on-Chip (SoC) and is engineered to interoperate among Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.15.4. For smartphone-caliber security, it includes hardware-based features capable of running on a microcontroller and a real-time operating system (RTOS).
The kit contains a Synaptics smart voice board equipped with a dual microphone, a CX20921 far-field voice processor and embedded smart voice triggering. The board allows you to add voice control, voice search and VoIP/speakerphone. You can access the board’s speech input processor, support for wake-on-voice, noise suppression and full-duplex acoustic echo cancellation. For audio playback, a Synaptics CX22721 amplifier is also integrated.
The Qualcomm Home Hub 100 Development Kit is qualified by Amazon and takes advantage of AWS IoT Core for device connectivity and management. Manufacturers and developers can use it to add AVS to a variety of connected products including these:
- Lighting, plugs and switches
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
- Alarms, control panels and thermostats
- TV set-top boxes and residential gateways
- Industrial automation
