I ' m wondering that what techniques do Trepn Power Profiler use to track the power consumption? Doe it read the battery information from the system? Does it utilize some special features of SnapDragon Processor when it runs on the smartphone with that processor? Any information about its accuracy, like it will have an error of how many microwatts? I'll appreciate that.

Accuracy varies by processor and OS version. If you have an older device with an 8974, 8084 like a Nexus 6 or Nexus 7 running Android 6.0.1 or earlier we read the power directly from the power management IC and battery fuel gauge software. Accuracy is very good. Typically around 2-3% error in m.

The Snapdragon 820 only reported power once every 30 seconds, which makes power averages almost useless.

All devices with Android 7.0 of later block direct power readings and some of the things we used to use to estimate power. So don't expect highly accurate readings.
