Hello,

Your Profiler looks very good :)

I wonder to know, on Open-Q 835 board with APQ8098, architecture Big-Little:

1) If it is possible to gather system metrics, so obtaining numbers not related to a single application (possibly with a 'native' metric, without to sum up all the single application related values)

2) How single application metrics are collected, e.g. per process ?

3) details about the CPU Cache {Misses, MissRatio, Refs} metrics, in particular

3.a) are they related to L1, L2 both?

3.b) from what processing domain come from: Kryo 280 Gold, Silver or both?

3.c) some links to better understand them, e.g. are them "standard" ARM v8 PMU?

Many thanks for your attention

Have all a good day

Salvatore

Hi slionetti,

1) Yes it is possible to get CPU system wide metrics on the Realtime capture mode, you should find all those metrics in the 'System' category node within the metrics list.

2) Yes they are collected per process.

3) Profiler uses the standard linux perf event API to query these values. If you search for that you should find details of the metrics you are interested in.

Cheers,

Carlos
