I am working with the 8x96autocv2x/poky-agl distro for Qualcomm 9150 chipset.

I need to compile a new driver inside the kernel but not sure which it should be the right command.

I tried :

DISTRO=auto MACHINE=8x96autocv2x bitbake virtual/kernel -c menuconfig

That command allows me to modify the kernel, add the driver and save the conf file but when I run the

DISTRO=auto MACHINE=8x96autocv2x bitbake core-image-minimal -c do_populate_sdk

It shows there is nothing new to build.
Any suggestions in how I can verify the new driver/kernel module can be built?
