This new suite of tools comprises 10 audio plug-ins and uses Higher Order Ambisonics (HOA) to represent a sound scene internally. After placement, 3D audio renderers deliver scene-based audio to a wide range of different speaker configurations. A spatial sound effects plug-in includes the ability to rotate a sound field to match a visual perspective. The plug-ins work with Pro Tools running on Mac OS. They and are provided completely free of charge on Qualcomm Developer Network.
