Hi,

I am following the porting guide with my QCA9377 USB dongle. When configuring the kernel using make menuconfig, the guide simply says to press LOAD,OK,SAVE,OK. When I attempt to load, I am warned that there is no config file present (.config does not exist). Is a .config file meant to be added by the aio_gen scripts? I have used the default (existing config for my laptop) for this process and this seemed to work for kernel v4.11. Just wanted to check whether this is the correct thing to do or whether some config settings are supposed to be altered/added.

Thank you for your time,

Liam

Hi Liam,

For the first time build, you need to save the config first. We will update the doc.

You are doing the correct thing.

Thanks.
