Could you please confirm if qca9377-3 is Wifi dual band concurrent, ie if it is possible to have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz working at the same time ?
If yes, do we need specific drivers / firmware / configuration file to run under linux kernel 3.18 ?

QCA9377-3 can work in both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands at the same time. There is no special driver/firmware needed for this.
However, since it has single radio, the operation is time-shared i.e. the radio keeps toggling between the two bands and impacts the throughput.

By the way, we have a new chipset, named Genoa. This is a DBS (Dual Band Concurrent) chipset, meaning it has 2 radios that can work independently on different bands, without impacting throughput.
