QCA9377 Simultaneous Wi-Fi Client / AP ?

Similarly to the question on the Hardware capability to perform Simultaneous Client P2P (https://developer.qualcomm.com/forum/qdn-forums/hardware/qca9377/34829), is it possible to perform both a client (managed) attachement to an Access Point while simultaneously presenting an Access Point (STA) as well?  Thanks for the info.

Hi Jeff,

Yes, STA + AP mode is supported by QCA9377.

Yes, QCA6174A also supports STA+AP operation.

This forum is for QCA9377 and questions are welcome only on the same platform.

We encourage you to check such details with your software provider/module vendor.
This is a quick info though, so let me help you:

Once driver is loaded, you should see wlan0 interface created. You should be able to use it as STA.

Execute the command "iw dev wlan0 interface add softap0 type __ap"  to add  interface softap0. This one you can use with hostapd to bringup AP interface.
