CSRMesh EVK LED Selection

Hi,

In the CSRMesh EVK, the LED used is Osram LRTB GFTG.

The minimum forward voltage for -

Red - 1.8V

Green - 2.9V

Blue - 2.9V

In general the voltage of two AA Battery starts at 2.9V and ends at 1.8V.

 

Would you recommend any suitable LED Driver or workaround to get the LED accross the full battery range.

Do not use LEDs that have an operneal voltage above CSR1010 voltage.

If you mast use transistor of FET to drive the 3 channels from external power source (higher than 3V)

It very rare led that needs minimum above 2.9V

Hi buddy, I would suggest you not to go for the LED with the details of voltage you liste above.

CSRMesh use non-connectable random address advertisement to transmit data like Beacon. When both CSRMesh and Beacon are working, you can see a lot of advertisements with different addresses.
