Hi

We are using the CSR1010 for consumer electronics with 2 AA alkaline batteries power supply.

We have connect the two AA batteries directly to CSR.

Is there any internal protection against negative supply (cause by wrong assembly of the AA batteries)?

We want to save external serial diode or transistor due to size/price/power lost over the serial device

Thanks

CSR1010 does not have any internal protection against negative supply (cause by the wrong assembly of the AA batteries.

To use serial diode is a bad idea due to power lost over 0.7V .

The solution is to use P-channel MOSFET transistor. See https://goo.gl/xDRkjE
