Hi guys!!!!

Its my first time posting here, cause im look for some driver I heard get a better performance about my phone. I try to find some news here but its too dificult for me cause im a rookie in development in android OS.

So can anyone help me?! My phone its a Motorola SPICE, and looking some info on the websites on gsm arena I found this thread:

Android OS, v2.1 (Eclair)CPU528 MHz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm MSM7225 chipset

So, after read this, I heard something: Motorola when build this phone dont install the drivers for thie GPU so when u play games or apps that needs a 3D graphic like Angry Birds, its so bad playing, cause u see frame by frame when using. So I download the Adreno Profiler but cant use it, can anyone help me? If exist a driver for install and better the performance?

Please help me guys! thx a lot! Cya

Hi Andre,

I believe the Motorola SPICE does not have an Adreno GPU in it.

Thanks,
-Steve

Hi,

Wrong: Morotrola Spice (XT300) does have an Adreno GPU inside but does not come with the installed driver and use Software acceleration which makes the phone to be slow (not only with games).

More info: http://www.gsmarena.com/motorola_spice_xt300-3540.php

Any tip/help to install/compile the driver?

Cheers.
