How is the adreno_config.txt called upon by the android system?? In android 4.1 the adreno_config is now located in /firmware/adreno_config.txt. In 4.0 it is located in /system/etc/adreno_config.txt and can be used when the system is forced to use hardware rendering(removing- 0 0 android from egl.conf).

Forcing the system to hardware will not initiate the use of adreno_config.txt in android 4.1. There has to be a way right?? The file is sitting in the system for a purpose so how can one initiate it's use???

Our apologies, but the adreno_config.txt file is an internal tool we use to optimize and develop our Adreno drivers. It's a mistake that the file has become public and/or discoverable, and unfortunately it does not provide any recommended graphics tuning to someone editing the file. There is no public documentation available. In general the Adreno driver is already well optimized for the hardware it is installed on.

Thanks for your response! However, the ability to create 4x MSAA through a config file is a great option. Is the option in the driver for full time MSAA for those on jelly bean 4.1 android? What is the best way to achieve this? This is definitely an option the community wants regardless if it slows the system down. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
