I cannot connect the profiler to the samsung galaxy note 2. Is this a know problem or unsupported device? I get the error message that says, "WARNING! ADB found a device, but not Adreno Profiler enabled application can be found. If your application is running please ensure that network privleges have been enabled in the APK manifest."
I enabled the permission "android.permission.INTERNET" in my app's manifest.
This is the first I've heard of there being issues with the Note 2, but it's entirely possible that it's not working. Although the Profiler shim ships as a part of our commercial driver, we're not able to test it with all commercial devices, and it's possible for a customer to break it.
As I know, Galaxy Note 2 uses Mali 400 GPU (not Adreno).
Correct, the Note 2 uses a Samsung Exynos 4412+ ARM Mali GPU.
Both the Note 1 and Note 3 have Snapdragon/Adreno variants in various regions, but the Note 2 always ships with Exynos.
