Hi,

By looking into docs, it is possible to interface six 4-lane CSI camera sensors to RB5. Is it possible to connect 4 MIPI CSI camera with Vision mezzanine?  Is interface available in it?

If not, how it is possible with RB5 & Vision mezzanine? Is any header board available with atleast 4 csi connector?

Best regards,

Kannan Vinod

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your response. Can you help us with the following:

1. My understanding is RB5 main board has High speed connectors(HS1, HS2 and HS3) and vision mezzanine is connected to it. Vision mezzanine has 6 independand CSI interfaces. Is this correct?

2. Is the GST plugins/multimedia sub system pre-installed with RB5 dev kit?

3. If we have installed the Linux version by Linaro instead of a custom version from Thundercomm in RB5, from where to download the Qualcomm framework (SDK's)? Is this framework available for public(open-source) or need to have any registration/license to download, install and use? Is company verification is required?

Regards,

Kannan Vinod

Hi Kannan

A1 : Yes, HS1, HS2, HS2 each has two 4-lane CSI interace on high-speed connector

A2: some of GS plugins might be installed. You can search in sdk or run Gstream command to check it

A3, No, you need to use Ubutun SDK.
