Hi,
We are using the httpsvr.
When using with the QCLI demo example, it seems to work fine.
However, when we use our own pages, it works fine as long as it needs to load only 2 files (e.g., index + single image) but if we add more files (css, js, etc) it might load properly once or twice but eventually causes the target to hang (watchdog seems to be triggered). Sometimes the faiure is on the first load, sometimes it is on the 3rd or 4th time we load the page. Currently the page does not use any CGI (we disabled those to diagnose the issue) and is fairly simple and small page.
Any ideas on how to resolve this? maybe increase number of sockets??
Many thanks,
Rani
Hi,
Few more things we tried - but did not resolve the web server from hanging:
1. Change (increas or decrease) the number of buffers (using qapi_Net_Profile_Set_Custom)
2. Change tx and rx buffer size for httpsvr
3. Reduce file sizes in our web server content
4. Disabled watchdog
The system no longer resets or hangs (completely) - we can access it from the serial CLI (this is CLI demo based).
However, once httpsvr fails to serve a url (browser just waits forever) it no longer responds. If a reload is issued, no urls are being provided to browser. Only a reboot releases this.
Any other suggestions? any known issues with httpsvr? maybe new release available?
Thanks,
Rani
Kindly try the demo using QCA4020.OR.3.2 OEM QCA SDK+CDB posted on Dec 12, 2020 and let us know if you still face issues ?
Hi Raja Pedada,
Thank you for your response.
Are there any release notes for QCA4020.OR.3.2? (the only release notes I could find are for 3.0)
Thanks,
Rani
