Performed following steps:

1. repo init -u git://gitmirror/cm/download/ca_OpenEmbeddedforMSM/sas-manifest.git -m caf_AU_LINUX_EMBEDDED_LE.UM.1.3.2_TARGET_ALL.01.105.149.xml
2. repo sync -j32

3. vi poky/build/conf/local.conf

4. Added following lines:

5. cd poky

source build/conf/

6. bitbake core-image-minimal -c do_populate_sdk

Error: After step6, getting parse error as

ERROR:  OE-core's config sanity checker detected a potential misconfiguration.
Either fix the cause of this error or at your own risk disable the checker (see sanity.conf).
Following is the list of potential problems / advisories:

Do not use Bitbake as root.

Summary: There was 1 ERROR message shown, returning a non-zero exit code.

Please suggest the possible recovery method for this. Or let me know I have missed anything.

Hi Praveen,

Another user reported a similar issue and we are looking into it. Please see the response here:

In your case I did not recognize the repo init URL. The URL to be used is as listed in the instructions here:
