I have tried to develop MSDC App using Qualcomm API 4.2 and  Google Pixel 2.  But I was not able to reach to the point initializeMSDCConfirmation and here is Logcat.

09-04 12:09:23.542  1120  2297 W ActivityManager: Unable to start service Intent { act=com.qualcomm.ltebc.aidl.ILTERootService pkg=com.qualcomm.ltebc } U=0: not found

09-04 12:09:24.043 15013 15895 I MSDC_API_MSDCAppManagerImpl: startAndroidService: 582: LTERootService Service can't be started as android version is 26 or above

09-04 12:09:23.543 15013 15895 I MSDC_API_MSDCConnectionRootHelper: connectRootService: 104: Binding to RootService result : false

What could be those problems ? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

Seems like the MSDC middlewar eis not present on the device. What PLMN are you using on the device?

You could also try to enable the com.qualcomm.ltebc manually form adb command line.

Thanks

Hello,

Thanks for the replay.  We are developing this application in Helsinki and we are using PLMN = 244 34 where 244 = Finland and 34 is our test MNC.

Could you also give us a hint on how to enable manually com.qualcomm.ltebc ?

Thanks a lot for your time.

Br,

Bereket
