Sorry to hear you are having problems. Here are a few things for you to try. I'm sure our engineers will have even better suggestions for you.
- Start with only one mobile device connected.
- Make sure it's running Android 4.4 of later.
- Make sure your lock-screen is unlocked.
- Be patient. It can take up to a minute for your device to appear.
- Sometimes reconnecting your USB cable or toggling MTP off and on helps. On a Nexus device, this is accessed from the Storage menu by selecting USB computer connection.
Also keep in mind, the first time you run Snapdragon Profiler, software needs to be copied and installed onto your mobile device. This sometimes takes a few seconds. Check to see if there is a Snapdragon Profiler icon on one of your Android home screens.

One thing to consider is that if you have exported the path where 'adb' resides to PATH through your .bash_profile it might not be picked up by Snapdragon Profiler. A couple of thing you can try on top of what Rick already suggested would be to either:
* Launch Snapdragon Profiler through your bash terminal by using the command "open SnapdragonProfiler.app"
* Another hacky but easier way to get around this would be to copy your 'adb' executable to /usr/local/bin
I tried those, it work, but Snapdragon Profiler still can not find devices sometime. Thank you very much.
using open /path/SnapdragonProfiler.app from the command line worked for me.
Thanks
It works for me.
Thank you very much
I have the same problem and non the above helped me so far...
As was mentioned above, it is important that ADB can see your device and that ADB is in your system path so Snapdragon Profiler is able to execute it. You can also explicitly set the the location of ADB in the Snapdragon Profiler settings (File -> Settings -> Android).
Eric
Actually ADB was in my path and running `adb devices` would show the device. but Snapdragon Profile wasn't able to find the device.
By Eric Shaw's suggestion, I added adb path to snapdragon and now it's detecting the device.
thanks Eric Shaw.
Eric Shaw's suggestion is quite helpful and it works for me. Thanks a lot.
You stil saving souls in 2018. Thanks
That's exactly my case!
Thanks a lot!
This worked for me!
