My app has some strange behaviors on Adreno 420 devices when using geometry instancing by glDrawElementsInstanced, while on other devices like Adreno 330/530 it runs well. However, I found that adreno profiler cannot capture the right buffer for instanced draw commands, and the rendered results for these commands are quite different from what they are on the real devices. Are there some ways to debug instanced draw commands?

Can you try using Snapdragon Profiler and see if the rendered results look any different?
