What will you see at Uplinq?

0 0

I can’t believe that Qualcomm’s developer conference Uplinq is starting tomorrow! The team is busy with preparations for meetings and putting last minute touches on their presentations. So what can you expect to see at Uplinq? You can expect to learn a lot from the many technical and business sessions, for one. In addition, there are plenty of networking opportunities and events throughout the conference. And of course, don’t forget the great weather in San Diego.

I won’t go through the full detailed agenda but do want to highlight a few of the major themes for the show:

  • Keynotes – Dr. Paul E. Jacobs and executives from Verizon and AT&T headline the conference with keynotes.
  • Supersessions – Don’t miss the supersessions featuring topics such as “Vision-Based Augmented Reality,” “Enhancing User Experience in Mobile,” and “Where Will Mobile Apps & Devices Be 5 Years from Now?”
  • Adreno GPU’s – Come and learn how to leverage Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU to create high quality 3D graphics, and premium SVG content. There’s a session on how to optimize and tune the performance of your apps using the Adreno Profiler.
  • Enhanced Multimedia Technologies – In addition to having stunning graphics in your apps, you can learn about sensors, location, peer to peer, and other multimedia features in upcoming Qualcomm chipsets.
  • Windows® Phone – Microsoft will be presenting an overview on platform and tools for the new Windows Phone.
  • Brew MP™ – There will be lots of sessions on Brew MP, from tools to distribution.
  • MeeGo

If that’s not enough, make sure you check out the concert by Train at Qfest. I’m looking forward to seeing you at the show.
